2016 GAS Event Information

Being launched in 2015 a new cheaper entry series with a motor restriction of 100hp, there is no need to be intimated any more, compete against others in similar boats and with no cash on the line it will be a load of fun.  Run at the same time as a GTS event, you get to experience the big event atmosphere and stage, not just some tent on the side of the river, you get the full tournament experience. With 10 events you can find a local one for you, come and try it!

• 4 North and 4 Mid events
• Run in conjunction with GTS Events
• $50 Entry Fee per Team, you get lures in return for entry fee worth over $50

• Payout Top 3 get product
• 1st Place: Majorcraft Rod / Atomic Rod
• 2nd, 3rd: Product from our sponsor including Atomic, Unitika, Bassday

• Session Times: 6 Hours (start time dependent on Daylight Savings Time)
• Daylight Saving Time (Summer October – March)
• Session Times 6:30am – 12:30pm
• Briefing 6:15am
• Weight-in Starts 11:45pm
• Presentation 12:30pm depending on number of Teams
• Eastern Standard Time (Winter April – Sep)

• Team of the Year (TOY) Information
• Based on best 4 rounds, can fish all 10 only best 4 count any region
• TOY Area is nominated on Team creation and can be edited online
• Best 4 finishes can be made  up from any event in any region
